AIELP -
Australian Indigenous Engineering Link Project

With the support of Queensland Deparment of Transport and Main Roads, The
University of Queensland, CQ University and James Cook University, we have developed the Australian
Indigenous Engineering Link Project (AIELP).
The Project is designed to provide Indigenous students the opportunity to
experience university life and engineering through the award-winning Engineering Link Project.
You can download a two-page flyer by clicking here.
A brief outline of an AIELP is as follows:
Day 1:
- Arrive and Register (10 am)
- Welcome
- Tour of University, including morning tea.
- Lunch
- Bus trip to "town" - shopping, free time
- Dinner
- Evening Activity - (eg LaserTag)
Days 2 - 4:
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, students who attend the AIELP at any of our locations will only pay
for the ELP (days 2 to 4). Meals, accommodation and the evening activity will be paid for. The only
expenses will be bus fares, morning and afternoon teas and any snacks during the 4 days.
