EMP - Terms and Conditions of Registration 



1. All students must behave responsibly during the course.  Anyone found behaving inappropriately will have the opportunity to explain their actions.  Parents/Guardians will be notified and the student may be dismissed from the Project.

 

2. Bedrooms have been allocated to you and cannot be changed without the express permission of the Project Director.  Any issues with rooms should be reported immediately.

 

3. You are responsible for your bedroom key.  If you lose your key, you will be invoiced for the replacement cost (of $100).  Report any lost keys to the Project Director immediately.

 

4. If the fire alarm sensor in your room is activated, and it is proven to be a false alarm, the cost to TELG is $1000.  This cost will be passed onto the participant.  It is the participant's reponsibility to read the College rules carefully and be familiar with the fire evaculation procedures (a package is provided in each room, and are explained upon commencement of the Project).

 

5. Doors and windows to bedrooms should be closed and locked when the room is unattended.

 

6. To maintain a safe residential environment, males and females are not permitted to enter any room belonging to a member of the opposite sex.

 

7. All students must register at breakfast by 7.45 am, and in the evening by the stated time on the Project program.

 

8. If you feel unwell at any time on the Project, please report immediately to the Project Director, who will take appropriate action.

 

9. Please report any concerns, incidents or problems to a member of staff from The Engineering Link Group, or a supervisory teacher.  If you have forgotten an essential item (eg shampoo, toothpaste etc), please see a member of staff.

 

10. Participants must attend all lectures and activities detailed on the program and should not leave the campus at any time.

 

11. No smoking, drinking of alcohol or alcoholic beverages, or the taking of illegal or prescription drugs is allowed at any time and will result in immediate dismissal from the Project.

 

12. Your name badge must be worn at all times.

 

13. It is your responsibility to monitor and consume your own prescription medication at the appropriate, prescribed intervals.  However, you must report your possession of such items to the Project Director upon arrival.

 

14. TELG will be taking photos and video of the course and its participants.  These images will be used for the sole purpose of promoting our activities on our website and official sponsor publications.  All care will be made to ensure that they are used appropriately.
