The Engineering Link Group provides several programs that aim to give
Australian secondary school students opportunities to experience what
engineering is truly about.
-
- Engineering Link Project (ELP)
-
Our flagship project - where Year 11 and Year 12 students "become engineers",
working with real engineers to produce products that model "real-life"
problems that real engineers face.
- Smallpeice Trust Engineering Scholarship
-
Providing an opportunity for four (4) students to travel to England
to participate in a 2-week Management Project, and play a little tourist
while still at school.
- Enterprise Management Project (EMP)
-
A business and entrepreneurial course for students entering Year 12
who may have an interest in engineering,
marketing or business.
- Linking Engineers and
Scientist with Teachers (LEaST)
- LEaST is a project where practicing teachers are
teamed up with practicing engineers and scientists to produce curriculum
programs suited to the context-based syllabus requirements of Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics.
-
- Future Directions
-
TELG has many other projects in development, which are detailed
here.
