Engineering and science brought into the classroom
Our programs are designed to provide ideas, strategies and practical experiences that help schools bring real-life engineering and science into the classroom.
As teachers, we understand the challenge of motivating students. TELG programs are designed with this in mind—engaging students through hands-on, maths and science-based problem-solving.
Outreach Programs
Regional Engineering Project
A specialised program for regional schools, the Regional Engineering Project combines a one-day Engineering Link Project for students with a one-day LEaST professional development experience for teachers.
STEM Incursions
Experienced STEM teachers and professional engineers work directly in schools with students from Years 7 to 12. Projects range from 45 minutes to 3 hours and incorporate engineering, science, mathematics and technology.
Why schools choose TELG outreach
- Programs designed by teachers who understand real classroom challenges
- Hands-on, practical STEM learning experiences
- Real engineering contexts that make maths and science more meaningful
- Flexible delivery for schools that may not be able to attend larger programs
