M7–M12 Integration Project Bridge Competition
Following a successful inaugural event in 2024, the M7–M12 Bridge Competition returns in 2025—challenging students to design and build the strongest bridge using spaghetti and glue.
Competition Overview
The competition aligns with the M7–M12 Integration Project, which includes over 40 new and upgraded bridges across Western Sydney.
The main event will be held at the AF9 John Holland M7–M12 Integration Office in Cecil Park and will be live-streamed.
Teams unable to attend can courier their bridge for testing, with results recorded and shared.

Prizes
A total prize pool of $2000 (thanks to Transurban) will be awarded.

Expressions of Interest
Schools that register their interest will receive one load hook. Additional hooks (up to 5 per school) are available on request.

The M7–M12 Integration Project supports access to the new Western Sydney Airport and improves connectivity across the region.
- M7–M12 Interchange: new connection between M7 and M12
- Elizabeth Drive Connection: improved local access
- M7 Widening: additional lanes between M5 and Richmond Road
