2025 Queensland Bridge Competition Results

The 10th Queensland Bridge Competition, proudly supported by The Queensland Government (through the Department of Transport and Main Roads), Engineers Australia and QUT, has been run and won for 2025.
Across 6 locations across Queensland, 26 different schools built 153 bridges, which is more than twice the number of bridges in 2024! All bridges were tested and we are very pleased to announce the winners!



Winner: “Our Bridge is Stroganoff” Cannon Hill Anglican College – 42.00 kg – $700
Second: “Pasta Pasta Sauce” Cannon Hill Anglican College – 30.72 kg – $400
Third: “Nagesh” Bremer State High School – 19.76 kg – $300
Location Prizes: (Each location winning team receives $100)
North Lakes: “Pasta la Vista” The Lakes College – 15.64 kg
QUT: “Nudgee 1” St Joseph’s Nudgee College – 18.54 kg
North Queensland: “Hamish F” Ingham State High School – 5.98 kg
Central Queensland: “Ninety Percent Glue” Heights College – 13.02 kg
South Brisbane/Logan: “Kenmore 1” Kenmore State High School – 7.52 kg
North Brisbane: “Bread” Northpine Christian College – 6.5 kg
We are extremely grateful to our testing location hosts – QUT Gardens Point, Heights College (Rockhampton), Ingham State High School, Marsden State High School, The Lakes College and St Eugene College. We also want to thank the teachers and staff who spent countless hours supporting their students, enabling them to compete.
