Engineering Link is back in 2020!

We are very excited to announce that the Queensland Engineering Link Projects for 2020 are going ahead, albeit in a slightly different way.

We are very grateful to our sponsors – the Department of Transport and Main Roads, Engineers Australia, James Cook University, QUT and CQ University – for their continued support and encouragement.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have changed the format of the ELP to a one-day, two-workshop event, but all of the characteristics that make an ELP the exceptional experience for high school students remain:

  • working with real engineers on practical projects that apply mathematics and science
  • experience what university life could be like
  • meet like-minded students who also have an interest in STEM (and in particular, engineering) and
  • help decide whether engineering might be the career path for you!

You can download a flyer by clicking here.

The dates for the four events are:

  • Rockhampton: Monday 21st September 2020 @ CQUniversity
  • Brisbane: Thursday 24th September 2020 @ QUT (Gardens Point)
  • Townsville: Wednesday 30th September 2020 @ JCU (Townsville)
  • Cairns: Friday 2nd October 2020 @ JCU (Cairns)

Full details of each workshop can be found at the links above, or by clicking here.

Registrations are now open and we look forward to working with our engineers of the future again.
